The USOPC is proud to announce the introduction of the Paralympic Sports Medicine Conference, taking place September 4-6, 2025, virtually and in person, at the Colorado Springs Olympic & Paralympic Training Center.
The conference is being co-sponsored by AAPM&R, and is being conducted in partnership with AMSSM and the British Journal of Sports Medicine.
This new educational offering, which will feature renowned national and international experts in Paralympic sports medicine, will be brought to you in partnership with multiple medical associations (announcements to follow). The conference will provide a comprehensive overview of Paralympic sports medicine topics, including Paralympic classification, adaptive equipment, team physician medical kit, medical emergencies, medical concerns associated with travel, neurologic considerations, cardiac conditions, skin conditions, and much more. The conference will include lectures and hands-on learning opportunities.
